My "Sound" and product as an artist isn't defined by screaming altissimo notes, wicked arpeggios, or worrying about what the other guy is doing, but by me pouring every ounce of my soul into that moment through the sax.....

Loving What I'm Doing...

Frequently
Asked
Questions....
Professionally I've been a jazz saxophonist for 12 years. In doing so, I've had numerous requests from music selections, to serenades, and packages. To be as transparent as possible, I hope addressing these few questions will enlighten you more as towards what I offer!
#1 - " Rob, what type of music do you perform at your shows?"
A - Generally if I am in a open venue such as a restaurant
or club, I'm trying to please the masses. Pending it is a
blended environment, I may cover everything from country
to R&B; maybe even 80's rock.
#2 - " Rob, do you play religious/gospel music?"
A - Most certainly! I got my start in church playing the sax.
My call to God is through testimony and by honoring HIM
also in music.
#3 - "How soon can I book you?"
A - Typically I am booked out 2 months in advance. That's
not to say there aren't any openings available, but the
further out the better. Also, I don't book further than 8
months out. I have a commitment with Buckwheat Zydeco
Jr., and I fill those dates first on my scheduling.
4 - " I have a program/event, and I want you to play just one song"
A - That "1" song will cost you what a 2-3hr performance will.
With any performance, a professional will explain that
there is planning, prepping, etc. involved with a
performance. Time is of the essence of any performance.
Thus, you're not only paying for my talent, but also my time...
